...was set up to assist people who wanted to access practical painting and decorating skills training outside of mainstream learning environments, such as colleges. Our mission is to offer people the opportunity to learn a variety of practical and non-cognitive skills in a live working environment. Our courses are run as community painting and decorating projects that help improve the living environments of vulnerable people. Here are some of the benefits that you will gain if you choose to participate on one of our painting and decorating courses/projects:

- Onsite work experience as part of a decorating team

- The opportunity to progress onto a City & Guilds level 1 certified construction multi-skills course (try out other construction trades such as brick laying, joinery/carpentry, tiling, plumbing, floor screeding etc.)

- To continue as a volunteer to help fine tune those newly acquired skills, whilst gaining valuable on site work experience
Our tutors will assess your skills and work with you at an appropriate level. You may just want to complete the initial training course to get the
CSCS card or decide you are in it for the long haul. It is for you to decide. Whatever your reasons for coming on one of our courses, we will endeavour to help you achieve your desired outcome.
